Colorado Health Institute Report features GALS

See the Moving through the School Day article on Page 21:
“And the test scores show it. The school reports that it earned higher scores on the 2013 Transitional Colorado Assessment Program standardized tests for all subjects — math, science, reading and writing — than Denver Public Schools and the state as a whole. The self-confidence harnessed through GALS’ activity- based approach to learning encourages students to become thoughtful, expressive leaders. The teachers — both male and female — emphasize group discussions, encouraging students to speak out on issues such as domestic violence, race relations and diversity.”
