6th Grade Jumpstart

Friday, August 15th, 8:30AM-2:00PM (arrival at 8:10AM)

Our new sixth graders will spend a day together, getting to know their teachers, exploring our building, getting their lockers, and meeting new friends. They should bring their school supplies, a combination lock, and a water bottle. Students can bring lunch or get it from our cafeteria. We’ll end the day at 2:00 with a popsicle and dance party!

First Day of School

Registration
Registration is a time for you to come to GALS to complete school paperwork (much of this can also be done online—more to come on how that works), get more information about GALS and the upcoming year, sign up for After School programs, get your school assigned Chromebook, pay the one time registration fee, and purchase dress code items.

Students always encouraged, but not required.
GoKid (Car Pooling)
GALS is proud to announce a new partnership with GoKid, where enrolled families will receive the contact info for the closet GALS families to them... so you can set up carpools to and from school!
As this partnership is new, we will send out more information about registering and downloading this app shortly.
We recommend that families have alternative transportation planned for the first week of school in the event that lists are not ready until then.

Get to know the community by joining our Facebook Group!
It's a great way to connect with other families, get a sense of the awesome things happening at GALS, and it will be a valuable tool for keeping up with announcements during your time at GALS.
