High School sports
Per the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA), the 2020-21 season will be played with a modified sport schedule due to the on-going global pandemic, creating four separate sports seasons during the school year. The modified calendar splits sports into four seasons, concluding in late June: A, B, C and D.

Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSSA) has moved the fall volleyball season to a pre-spring (January-March) sport. Click here for more information about this decision. We will be in touch with more information as soon as possible.

Every participant will need to do the following 4 items before participating on an athletics team (all necessary forms are available on the right side of this page under Athletic Forms):
- Read, sign, and send back the Covid-19 waiver to your coach whose emails are listed below.
- Read, sign, and send back the GALS Waiver and Liability
- Sign Up for the Positive Coaching Alliance Workshop to learn about what it means to be a Triple-Impact Competitor! Sign Up here. This course is MANDATORY for all students that want to participate in GALS Athletics this year, in any sport.
- Date: September 14th
- Time: 345pm – 4:45pm
- Make sure to have an updated physical WITH Covid-19 questions/responses complete.
- The clinic at West High School is currently open and taking appointments for sports physicals. Details below on accessing the pre-consent form before having your appointment (links in both english and spanish):
- The SBHC Consent is now live for the 2020-2021 school year. Parents can access the link from our website at www.DenverHealth.org/SBHC . The website and consents are smart phone and tablet compatible so they can be accessed from any device. Below are links to the consents if you would like to send links to patients via e-mail. We aren’t able to text message the links to parents or students without them initially requesting the link, they can text message our sbhc@dhha.org email to request links via text message.
