Monday, October 9th is Picture Day. Picture Day will be a free dress day, and students will not have movement class on Monday.

Tuesday, October 10th is the Final Mile! Students have been training and preparing all quarter for this culminating event. Ask them about their goals, and feel free to join us on the track! The mile should start around 9:30 AM and end with shout-outs by 10:05.

Conferences are this coming Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, October 11-13. You should have received a note, email, text, or phone call confirming your time. If you do not know what time you are signed up, please reach out to your student's wellness coach. If you'd like to help feed our amazing staff during those long days, please sign up here! 

Students have elected to host Homecoming with Denver Center for International Studies, a neighboring school right across the street. The dance will take place Saturday, October 21st from 6-10 PM at DCIS. I will have copies of permission slips if students want to bring guests from other schools besides DCIS. Students who attend GALS or DCIS do not need to fill this out for themselves.
