GoKid Carpool App

We’re excited to announce that GALS is partnering with GoKid, a leading school carpooling company, to make carpooling to and from school easier for our parent community. 

What Is GoKid?
GoKid creates a dedicated carpooling platform for GALS Denver families, allowing you to find other GALS families who live nearby and set up carpools using GoKid’s apps. To see how it works, watch this intro video.

What Information Is Shared?
To set up the platform, GALS shares the following information with GoKid:

• Parent and student names

• Parent mobile numbers and email addresses

• Home Addresses

• Student grade levels

Gokid keeps your personal information safe: The information will be used solely to offer a dedicated carpooling platform for GALS parents; personal data like your home addresses, emails, and phone numbers will NOT be shared with other parents unless you agree to carpool. Families will only see the names of nearby GALS families and the general vicinity of where they live on a map view. 

Not interested in carpooling? How to opt out:
If you do not want your information shared with GoKid or to participate in the platform, please email Timeri Tolnay at timeri.tolnay@galsdenver.org. You can opt out at anytime of the school year.

Terms of Use and Data Privacy

Carpooling is a personal agreement among parents. Neither the school nor GoKid are involved in the actual carpool matching - parents invite each other. Please review GoKid’s Terms of Use, and Data Privacy policy.
