September 5, 2023

It's September at GALS!

We can’t wait to see you this week at Back to School Night, which is Thursday from 5:30-7:00PM.  Come to mingle with your student’s teachers, meet our staff, and connect with other GALS families!

In the meantime, students are busy moving and learning.  Our first mile run is in the books, karaoke Friday lunches are back, and Quarter 1 is well underway!  Make sure to check-in with your student about all they are doing in the classes, because it is incredible.

Here's what is coming up in the next few weeks!

Other Important Notes & Resources:

  • PICK-UP SAFETY: At pick-up, for safety reasons, you must be parked all the way to the curb to stop and wait for your student. You may NOT double park on either Galapago or Fox Street. If there are no spots on Galapago or Fox street, you must continue to circle the block until you can connect with your child. We know this is difficult sometimes. Thank you for understanding!

  • AFFORDABLE CONNECTIVITY PROGRAM: Did you know that if your student participates in a free or reduced-price meal program, your household automatically qualifies for the Affordable Connectivity Program? The ACP is a federal government program that provides $30/month toward home internet service, making some plans FREE. The benefit can be applied to both new and existing plans. If your student doesn’t participate in the free or reduced-price meal program, your household may still qualify for ACP. Click HERE for more information!

Please never hesitate to reach out to us.  Our staff contact list can be found HERE, and your student's wellness squad coach is your number one contact for any questions and needs you might have.
