At GALS, we believe that who our students are becoming is just as important as what they are learning.

Middle school is a time of tremendous growth – intellectually, socially, and emotionally. That’s why character development and school culture are not add-ons at GALS; they are foundational to everything we do. We intentionally create a learning environment that nurtures confidence, compassion, resilience, and integrity in every student.

What We Mean by Character

Character at GALS is about more than good behavior. It’s about cultivating a strong inner compass that guides students through challenges, relationships, and choices. We focus on:
