GALS Board of Directors Parent Representatives

GALS Denver Board of Directors has seats for family representatives from the middle and high school.  The Board of GALS is the governing body of the organization GALS Denver, which holds the contract with Denver Public Schools to run GALS Denver schools. Board members guide the organization towards a sustainable future by adopting sound, ethical, and legal governance and financial management policies, as well as by making sure the nonprofit has adequate resources to advance its mission. School Accountability Committee Parent Representatives

GALS has a School Accountability Committee as required by CO State Charter law.  This group reviews GALS academic data, GALS Unified Improvement Plans, enrollment information, and other school data in order to share advice on how to make school improvements.  The SAC meets four times per year, and the meetings are open to all GALS community members.  If you are interested in serving on our SAC or attending a meeting, please email office@galsdenver.org or call the front office at 303-282-6437.  

Join the PTA

The newly-formed PTA was created in 2024 to strengthen the connection at GALS  between families and the school.  We are a group of GALS families who support each other, GALS students, GALS teachers, and staff by improving communication for families and creating access to GALS activities, family support, student advocacy, and fundraising.
