Middle School Newsletter | May 31, 2024

Last night, we celebrated 8th Grade Continuation with 52 GALS students.  Watching them grow up – from tiny & shy 6th graders to almost high schoolers who lead with power and poise – is something brilliant to witness.  Year after year, I am amazed.  This class surprised me last night by having each one of them present me with a unique rubber duck as they came to collect their certificates, and I was both honored and delighted.  What a joy-filled community we have!

Next week is our very last week of school for 6th and 7th graders – can you believe it?!  We will be busy cleaning out lockers, collecting Chromebooks, and reflecting on our year.  As a reminder, students have a NOON dismissal on Wednesday (their last day of school), and then it will be time for summer!

Here’s to the coming months of sunshine, popsicles, vacations, and adventures.  We’ll see you back in August!

Ms. Bock
